FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

Is Nyxscan free?

Yes. Nyxscan charges nothing. You pay the launchpad’s curve fee, any creator tax set by the token’s creator, and network gas, all of which are shown before you buy.

Does Nyxscan hold my funds?

No. There’s nothing to deposit. Your wallet signs each trade and sends it directly to the launchpad’s smart contract.

Which wallets work?

Any browser wallet that supports custom EVM networks (EIP-1193), such as MetaMask or Rabby. Nyxscan adds Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663) for you when you connect.

What does “bought without snipe tax” mean?

New launches charge a tax on buys in their first seconds, starting near 99%, to stop bots. Creators can exempt up to 32 wallets. If a wallet bought in that window without paying, it was most likely exempted, often the creator or their friends.

Does a clean scan mean a token is safe?

No. It means none of our rules found a problem. Tokens can still lose all their value. Always check the contract address and never invest more than you can lose.

Why did my buy fill fewer tokens than requested?

Near the end of the curve, a buy can only take what’s left. The contract fills that amount and refunds the rest of your ETH in the same transaction.

Why can’t I sell a token?

When a curve is about to graduate, it closes sells before the move to a pool completes. Once graduation finishes, trading continues on the pool.

The app doesn’t load data on my network.

Some ISPs block the chain’s public RPC. Nyxscan routes reads through its own endpoint. If your wallet can’t send transactions, set its Robinhood Chain RPC to this site’s /api/rpc address.

Is this financial advice?

No. Nyxscan shows on-chain data and heuristics. What you do with it is your decision.
